Group/Division

The Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support.  The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Responsibilities

KLA Ann Arbor seeks an organized and driven professional for the role of Business Process Analyst to plan, perform, and implement process improvement initiatives. This person will functionally support the Spares and Service Supply Chain Organization.

  • Ensures that established fill rate performance targets and inventory or service commitments are incorporated into the global Spares Plan.
  • Monitors and reports out fill rate performance v. fill rate targets and planned vs. actual inventory
  • Takes action to address current and future issues impacting Fill Rate performance and Spares Inventory cost
  • Identifies and drives continuous improvements with buyer/factory on current and upcoming critical parts
  • Supports processes and systems by leveraging data and systems to increase efficiency through analytics and automation for spares supply chain model.
  • Participates in development of predictive analytics to improve service planning operations and executive decision-making around spare parts.
  • Uses statistical concepts and theories to analyze and collect data. Performs statistical analysis on business data to validate and quantify trends or patterns identified by business analysts. Supports predictive models for data analysis.
  • Makes some basic decisions and recommendations using data from internal and external sources and utilizing standard procedures.  Recognizes situations which are not routine or outside one’s expertise and seeks guidance from Subject Matter Experts.  Right mindset to take input for own decision-making. Considers right factors and collects necessary information. Seeks reasonable guidance with process of decision making.

Qualifications

  • 1 – 2 years in supply chain operations in complex manufacturing environment; strong preference for experience in semiconductor equipment industry or other complex, high-mix, low-volume products
  • Process oriented with proven experience turning big data into meaningful analyses that lead to actionable results for supply chain operations
  • Strong data and analytical skills focus on creating predictive systems and processes to improve business performance
  • Proven experience with one of the following programming languages required (C, C++, R, Python, SQL).
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI or other business intelligence/analytics tools/services
  • MS Excel; MS Access, Data Base
  • SAP MRP preferred
  • ERP experience preferred

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Level Degree with 1 year of experience OR Equivalent Combination of Education and Experience
  • MS Excel; MS Access, Data Base

  • Concise and impactful written and verbal communication skills
