The RAPID division is the world leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing.
Precision assembly and testing of mechanical components or sub-assemblies
Diagnose problems and provide hands-on trouble shooting.
Creates parts and assemblies utilizing 3D modeling software (ProEngineer).
Produces detail drawings of designs for manufacturing following accepted drawing standards.
Generates assembly Bills of Materials (BOM’s)
Obtains quotes and orders parts to meet project schedules.
Collaborates with suppliers to ensure parts and or materials meet specifications and arrive on schedule.
Prepares for and presents reviews to obtain a peer-oriented design assessment
Contributes to team effort to accomplish overall objectives as needed.
Demonstrates perseverance and a drive to be better.
Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials and fabrication methods.
Basic understanding of electrical systems, vacuum system technology, design, materials and components
Hands on experience assembling mechanical hardware, conducting various tests and troubleshooting problems.
Works well as a team and be able to openly communicate in an honest and forthright manner with peers, interdisciplinary engineering groups and vendors.
Able to create basic part designs, assemblies and manufacturing detail drawing with 3D modeling software. Has knowledge of general accepted drawing standards.
Master's Level DegreeORBachelor's Level Degree with at least 1 years of experience.
