Group/Division

With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers.

The RAPID division is the world leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify, and execute software test plans.  Analyze and write test standards and procedures. Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
  • Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consult with development engineers in resolution of problems. Provide feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.
  • Ensure quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing.
  • ​​Communicate and collaborate among cross-functional teams in a multinational environment
  • ​Communication with customers and other teams (Apps, DE, other Development team etc).

Qualifications

  • Master degree (NCG or less than 5 years) in computer science, software engineering, information technology, etc;
  • ​Basic programming experience of Java, C/C++ is highly preferred
  • Shell scripting Knowledge of Linux platforms is a plus and basic knowledge of webserver, like Tomcat
  • Know at least one of scripting language like Python, Perl…
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Experience with international teams is a plus
  • Strong team player and motivated by team success
  • Experience/knowledge of automated testing tools is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Experience/knowledge of test data management tools is a plus, but not a requirement.
