Group/Division

The Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Product Training, and Technical Support.  The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Responsibilities

  1. As a technical lead, mentor junior team member.
  2. Transfer knowledge from division
  3. Develop a full understanding  product code
  4. Build and own the development environment for both sets of code
  5. Scope SW development projects for the code bases
    1. Write, review, refine feature request doucments (FRD) – to describe feature
    2. Write Specifications requirement documents (SRD) – to define designs
    3. Hold design review with Marketing and Product Support
  6. SW Code Development
    1. Write code for SW features, bugs, patches, etc
    2. Define the test use cases fore SQC
    3. Collaborate with SW SQC to Test the code
  7. SW Code Maintenance
    1. Manage SW branch strategy
    2. Manage SW licensing strategy
  8. SW Code Support

Qualifications

1. Master in computer science or engineering with C++/C#,

2. Good English communicaiton skills

3. Experience in 3+ software project development.
