VLSI Standards, Inc. was created for the purpose of developing metrology calibration standards and associated services for the semiconductor and related industries. VLSI Standards' first products were a traceable Step Height Standard, and a line of Contamination Standards. Today, VLSI Standards provides dozens of standards, products, and services to address every aspect of instrument calibration in the semiconductor and other industries requiring accurate metrology calibration standards. As always, we will continue the tradition of partnership with our customers for developing the most useful and innovative metrology calibration standard products possible.
Creates, develops, plans, writes, and edits operational, instrutional, maintenance or test procedures for paper, multimedia or web-ased publication. Conducts interviews with various users and technical staff to gather data for documentation. Researches and translates technical information into manuals and/or web-based documents for non-technical and technical users. May document engineering processes and specifications. Recommends formats responsive to technical and customer requirements. Produces products that conform to the company documentation and quality assurance standards.
Perferred course taken: professional and technical writing, career writting, editing for writer. Any special projects: hands-on experience in planning and writing publications, such as school newspaper, departement newsletter, etc. Currently pursing a Bachelor's Level Degree.
Knowledge: Learns to use professional concepts. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
Job Complexity: Work on pro blems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and prcedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Contact with others is primarily internal.
Supervision: Normally receives detailed instructions on all work.
