The reticle decision center division (RDC) is hiring application engineers to work on the cutting edge next-generation photomask inspection product.
This individual will be part of our large team of applicatoin engineers specializing in near real-time control of best-in-class semiconductor equipment that keeps our clients at the forefront of the technology curve. The major functionalities of the application is to manage all aspects of inspection process, including loading photomask, managing user setup input, coordinating various subsystems to sequence through calibration and inspection steps, processing large volume of data to generate defect result, reviewing inspection result, unloading photomask, managing storage and retrieval of inspection results, and integrating reticle inspection equipment with customer semi-conductor factory automation system and providing an intuitive and seamless user interface experience for all the above
The application development engineer will be closely working with both internal development teams and customer engineers to provide solutions that address customers' problems.
Primary responsibility will include customizing software and recipes to get results consistent with customer expectations. Often this will require traveling to customer sites and working closely with them and field engineers.
He/she will be investigating algorithms, techniques, and technologies that help enhance existing products and develop new ones.
He/she will also provide product demos, evaluations and trainings.
Candidate should have an MS or PhD in Material Science, Physics, Optics, Physical Chemistry, Chemical or Computer Engineering with background in semiconductor processing, lithography, optics, and/or device physics.
Experience in mask-making, wafer-processing, lithography simulation software, SEM, inspection, defect metrology, OPC, verification, optical and resist model-building, and machine learning is highly desirable.
Experience in UNIX/Linux, C/C++, MATLAB and scripting in Shell, Perl, Python, PHP, or HTML is a plus
Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 4 years of experience. OR Master's Level Degree with at least 2 years of experience.
